BRIGADOON
takes
place in the breathtaking Scottish Highlands.
The production tells a tale of two young men from
America
who become lost and stumble upon a magical town not on any map:
Brigadoon. Tommy and
Jeff, played by Paul Karssen and Jeff Tolsma, meet Fiona MacLaren, Kathy
Brogan, and Meg Brockie, Lois Estell, as the town is becoming festive and
preparing for the marriage of Fiona’s sister to Charlie Dalrymple, Sam
Bonnecroy. Soon, a romance
ensues between Tommy and Fiona.
She sings Waitin’ for My Dearie
and Charlie tells of his feelings for his bride Jean in
“I’ll go Home with Bonnie Jean”.
Other
songs include The Heather on the
Hill, Come to Me Bend
to Me, There But For You Go I, My Mother’s Weddin’ Day and From This Day On.
Look forward to the music and fashion; you’ll hear bagpipes and
see men in kilts! The village of Brigadoon
is here but only for one day every hundred years.
From a FAIR, to a FUNERAL, to a WEDDING.
The lovers must choose their destiny. Will the two Americans decide
to stay in Brigadoon or return home to America?
Come to this magical performance to discover their fate.
