Orange City subject of New York Photojournalist

Rene Clement, a freelance documentary photojournalist has captured a unique perspective on the Dutch heritage of Orange City.  The former resident of the Netherlands, has posted a taste of his work on his website.  Follow the link to see some of his work.

Art Burst
One of the best fine art festivals in the Midwest.  Regional artists display, demonstrated and sell their work Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the Sioux County Courthouse lawn.  Don't miss this artful pallete of creative enjoyment for all ages!

Tulip Festival Road Race
The 5K and 10K races and walk begin at 8am Saturday at the Windmill Park in downtown Orange City.  Check-in and packet pick-up are Friday evening and 7-7:45am Saturday morning.

FLOWER SHOW


View special arrangements of tulips and other flowers at the flower show.  Also, participate in workshops to learn how to arrange.

Vande Fear


Tulip Festival's answer to Fear Factor.  On Friday May 16, teams of 6-8 teens aged 15-18 will compete in a variety of scary and nasty competitions.

Fly-In Breakfast
At the Orange City Municipal Airport from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. A pancake and sausage breakfast sponsored by RISE Ministries.   Motor coaches welcome. Special parking available.
Community Worship Service
Bring your lawn chair or blanket to Windmill Park Square on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. The Worship service is sponsored by The Orange City Ministerial Association and the Tulip Festival Steering Committee. Coffee and fellowship before the service. In case of rain, the service is held in First Reformed Church on Central Avenue.
