As we celebrate the annual Tulip Festival, we’re excited to introduce a new addition to our 85th Commemorative Artwork!

On Friday during the Tulip Festival, artist Kaylee Maasdam of Fruited Paint Co will be participating in Artburst. During that time, she will create a live, on-site painting of Windmill Park. Festival attendees are invited to stop by her booth throughout the day to watch the painting come to life and explore a collection of her work available for purchase.

This original painting—capturing one of Orange City’s most iconic settings—will become a one-of-a-kind commemorative piece for this year’s celebration.

From Saturday, May 16, through Monday, May 18, the completed artwork will be available through a silent auction. The highest bidder will take home the painting, with all proceeds supporting the Tulip Festival through the Friends of the Festival campaign.
