Featured historical exhibits at the Orange City Dutch American Heritage Museum include Dutch costumes, a traditional Dutch living room and bedroom, tulip festival history, and early life in the Dutch kolonie. Learn about tragedies that befell the community and see Native American artifacts collected by a local veterinarian.
The newly remodeled museum Annex features a Marken-style exterior. Inside the Annex, you’ll see and learn about local men and women who served in military conflicts from the civil war to present day. The annex also features an old-time Barbershop.
While you visit the museum, be sure to tour the one-room schoolhouse and enjoy the beautiful perennial garden.
