Hobbies and interests:

During the school year, I work at Elite Dance and Tumbling. As a tumbling coach, I get to form relationships with the kids and watch them grow in different skill sets. I have also been involved in competitive gymnastics since I was ten, and it has been a huge part of my life ever since. Although I did not do it this past year, I still enjoy watching and coaching the sport.

School activities:

Throughout high school, I’ve been involved in band, orchestra, large group speech, soccer, school plays, dance team, and National Honor Society.

Spare time activities:

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing yard games, and attending youth group at Maurice. I love being a part of worship teams at First Reformed Church of Orange City, and Maurice Reformed Church youth group. I also babysit for local families in my free time.

Education/career plans:

As of now, I’m planning on getting my bachelor’s degree in nursing but unsure of what college/ university I want to study at. Then, I’d like to continue my education to become a nurse anesthetist.

Past Tulip Festival participated: 

Living in Orange City, I’ve been to the Tulip Festival every year. Since middle school, I’ve participated in the marching band and have done Dutch dancing various years. I also did street scrubbing and rode floats when I was little and have participated in the mode show with my family.
