Hobbies/Interests: One of my biggest hobbies is reading. I love sitting down with a good book and relaxing after a long day. I also love baking. Cookies, brownies, and puppy chow are some of my favorites to make.

School activities: I like to stay busy throughout the year, so I involve myself in different school activities. I participate in band and color guard, as well as choir. I am also involved in large group speech; choral reading and musical theatre. I help with the fall musical and student council. Lastly, I am in the National Honors Society. 

Spare time activities: In my free time, I attend youth groups, help in the church nursery, and volunteer in kid’s ministries. I also enjoy attending concerts with friends. This summer I went to Noah Kahan and Benson Boone and they were both amazing. I also enjoy watching the sunset and hammocking when I have time. Lastly, I love taking my dog on walks around town. 

Education/career plans: After high school, I plan to major in social work or psychology, and then go on to get a master’s. I am not quite sure where I will be attending, but I hope to figure that out soon! These majors will help me to later become a mental health therapist.

Past Tulip Festival participation: Growing up I participated in Dutch Dancing, and I still do to this day. I also am in The Pride of the Dutchman Marching Band, as a baton. I also love supporting and attending the community night shows.
